Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.
- 0-2 years geotechnical engineering or a related role.
- Strong interest in field-based geotechnical work.
- Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail, particularly in logging, documentation, and reporting.
- Ability to follow technical guidance and work collaboratively.
- Adaptability to the diverse nature of consultancy work.
- Quick learner with a passion for achieving best practice outcomes.
- Ability to work well in a close-knit team environment.
- Strong work ethic with a desire for learning.
- Friendly, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Comfortable with travel within NSW and interstate.

What You'll Do
- Assist with geotechnical site investigations under senior supervision.
- Supervise drilling, test pits, and in-situ testing.
- Log soil and rock in accordance with Australian Standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed field records.
- Review laboratory test results and site data.
- Assist in preparing geotechnical factual and interpretive reports.
- Support construction phase activities, including site inspections and observations.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and clients.
- Ensure safety, quality, and environmental procedures are followed at all times.
